The Parkes and District Kennel Club held a very successful two-day agility and show jumping trial from April 2-3, with competitors from all over New South Wales and the ACT for the event popular.

The club was well supported by the Parkes Shire Council in preparing the grounds for the weekend and were fortunate to receive a community investment grant from CMOC-Northparkes Mine to help run the trial.

Members of the Parkes Club performed exceptionally well over the weekend with fabulous results.

  • Excellent Jumping – Qualification, 1st place
  • Show Jumping Masters – Qualification
  • Excellent Agility – Qualification

  • Open Jumping – Qualification, 1st place
  • Agility Masters – Qualification, 2nd place
  • Novice Show Jumping – Qualification, 5th place
  • Novice Show Jumping – Qualification, 6th place

*Qualifying means that your dog has completed the course within the allotted time in the correct order, negotiating all jumps and obstacles in accordance with the rules.

The club are already preparing for their next two-day trial to be held in August
