Betty White was an icon for so many years. Her courage, attitude and talents are just a few of the things that have allowed her to stand the test of time and be adored by millions of fans around the world.
I grew up in the ’80s so The Golden Girls was a always-on show and even when it was just reruns, it was a show that I always loved. While the entire cast was brilliant, I always thought that Betty and her “Ah shucks” attitude and silly character was brilliant, relatable, and that’s why I fell in love with her first.

The older she got, the more popular she became because she was still easy to get along with and cool, especially to someone her age. She was just very easy to love and that says a lot about the woman she was, why she stood out and why so many people adored her.
Another thing that made him stand out, and which hasn’t always been recognized, is his love for animals and helping people in need.
Betty was so kind to everyone she met, whether it was a human or an animal. In fact, she loved all animals. So this challenge is truly a tribute to her and her life that will unfold on what would have been her 100th birthday.
