NoCo Dog Rescue seeks to raise funds at virtual fundraiser
A northern Colorado dog rescue will be featured in another national nonprofit virtual fundraiser this weekend.
The ultimate goal? To raise money for dogs in need of medical support, compassion, love – and, of course, a loving home.
According to their Facebook page, Scrungy Dogs and Perfect Pups Rescue — a NoCo-based nonprofit that rescues shelter dogs, nurtures them through a volunteer group, and then adopts them — will be featured by a national nonprofit , Jordan’s Path on their national tour to raise money for local animal shelters and rescues across the country.

Scrungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dog rescue based in Loveland, Colorado.
A non-profit organization that prides itself on being all-volunteer and foster-based, the primary mission of this organization is to rescue abandoned dogs from high-volume shelters and help them find their forever homes. .
During this process, rescue dogs are first placed in foster homes – waiting to find their forever home – and then are matched with their new person/family forever.
According to the Scrungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue website, all dogs adopted through the nonprofit are vaccinated, tested for heartworm, microchipped and neutered before being adopted.

As part of their 50-state tour, which is done to raise money and awareness for animal shelters nationwide (you can find out more at here), Jordan’s Way will be in northern Colorado this weekend, Saturday, January 29, for a live virtual fundraiser to help support Scrungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue.
According to the nonprofit NoCo Facebook page, the live fundraiser will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
How can you watch the event live? the Loveland-Reporter Herald says Jordan’s Way will host the four-hour live fundraiser via Facebook; it would feature games, challenges, rescue animals, volunteers, and other festivities.
By Thursday afternoon (January 27), just over $800 had already been raised towards the non-profit organization’s $15,000 goal.
