Milestone: Hurricane Ridge Kennel Club Donates to Local Groups and Agencies

The Hurricane Ridge Kennel Club, an AKC licensed, nonprofit all breed club, sees its members work each year to host three dog events in Sequim and Port Angeles.

In 2021, the club hosted a three-day agility-rally-obedience trial in June and a three-day all-breed competition at the ball fields at Carrie Blake Community Park. In October, HRKC hosted a two-day perfume trial at the Clallam County Fairgrounds in Port Angeles.

Each event drew hundreds of exhibitors to County Clallam who contributed tens of thousands to the local economy, HRKC representatives said. These events generated profits that the club then donates to organizations designated by our members.
