The 2022 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is upon us, once again giving dog lovers the chance to coo in front of their TV screens and ask the perennial oft-repeated question: who’s a good boy?

This year, the number of dog breeds eligible for the Westminster Dog Show has increased to 211, with the American Kennel Club officially recognizing two new breeds. The Hungarian farm dog Mudi will join the Herding group, while the little Russian toy will be added to the Toy group.

Don’t just take my word for it. All four days of the dog show will be streamed and streamed live for viewers at home, so you can watch all the good boys and girls from the comfort of your home. You won’t be able to pet them, of course, but you probably wouldn’t be allowed to even if you bought yourself a ticket and visited Tarrytown, NY in person.

How to watch the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in the United States

If you want to attend the Westminster Kennel Club dog show in the United States, you have two options. Namely, you can choose between the Spanish broadcast of FOX Deportes or opt for English commentary on FOX, FS1, FS2 and westminsterkennelclub.org.

For those who understand both languages and want to catch up on all the canine action, you’ll want to opt for the English broadcast. FOX Deportes will be much less sold out, not starting until Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. EDT, and some will be delayed.

That’s not to say that parts of the English broadcast won’t be delayed as well. Although the Masters Agility Championship takes place entirely on Saturday, FOX will only broadcast the finals on Sunday. However, English coverage will generally be faster and more comprehensive than its Spanish counterpart, which will not show the Masters Agility Championship at all.
