The Westminster Kennel Club dog show finals are shaping up to be a clash of canine titans.

One of them is Bourbon the Whippet, a finalist on the prestigious show last year and winner of the massive American Kennel Club National Championship show in December. Another is Wasabi the Pekingese, the winner of the AKC show in 2019 and the grandson of the best of the Westminster show in 2012.

Both trotted to the last ring on Sunday on Saturday, as did Mathew, a French Bulldog who lives with Bourbon, and Connor, an old English Sheepdog. Three more finalists will be selected on Sunday night, when they all vie for the best of the show.

Held in Tarrytown, New York, spectators are not permitted to attend this year except for owners and dog handlers due to security protocols due to COVID-19.
